"The hotel was easy to find and had everything we needed on site or nearby. The staff were so friendly and amazingly helpful. I booked a Superior room which was huge with a large bed and lovely bathroom....but, after an hour or so of being in the room, we realised that the door next to the bed was actually an interconnecting door to the next room. We could hear EVERYTHING the couple next door were up to. I did go to reception, and they were very helpful and accommodating and upgraded us to a Privilege room on the next floor, so I really cannot fault the staff at all. This room even had a partial track view and a mini fridge and loads of extras. Unfortunately later that night we realised that the walls in this room were paper thin, and we spent an hour and a half listening to man having a conversation on his phone. I probably wouldn't stay again, or recommend this hotel, as there is obviously no soundproofing on any of the rooms. For what they cost, you would expect this as standard to ensure privacy and peace for everyone. The parking is also quite expensive. £20.00 for 2 cars for the night. I understand that they must get a lot of people trying to park for the track, but other Mercure Hotels include parking, and all you have to do is add your vehicle reg to validate. So unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel."

"I totally understand London based hotels are generally more expensive that elsewhere in UK, £170 for one night booked 6 months ago is too much for the room we received, sadly the room needs modernisation- rusted shower pole, overly worn carpet, poor air con ( outside temp 26°) the hotel was fully booked when I enquired if they had another room. Its location is great being next door to the station and easy walking distance to Greenwich."

"Staff are so incredibly friendly and welcoming. I stayed with them for the London Marathon. They made me a special meal on the Saturday night ahead of the marathon, left me a good luck message and some Lucozade in my room and when I left even gave me a couple of small bottles of Prosecco to say “congratulations” 💙 Even opened breakfast early for me on the Sunday so I could eat before I had to head off. Made me feel at home all weekend!!! Bed was super comfy too."
