"Honestly not at all sure what everyone is talking about in the reviews. This place is great. We had a visit in June 2025 and I have very few complaints. I will absolutely be staying here next time I visit!! The good: Location location location, 5 minute walk to tons of restaurants and the subway entrance. Quiet, residential, safe. Room was clean, staff was helpful, free breakfast in NYC is hard to beat (though we hit up a ton of breakfast spots close to the hotel so we barely needed to enjoy...

"We had 3 rooms for multiple generations of family, and we all walked away feeling like this was a good choice for us. We were there for 4 nights. Things we noted: - It was on a quiet street but the action was just at the end of the block, which was nice - elevators were nice and generally speedy (reviews of many other NYC hotels complained extensively about slow elevators) - transit was close but not super close. Expect about a 8-10 min walk anytime you need to jump on the subway. - staff...
