Access arrangements (and supervision) sketchy - via key-safe on telephoning (never-seen) owner. However, the bed was very comfortable and the location quiet."

"Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "

I didn't use the communal kitchen as someone in there was, well a bit weird, looking disturbed. I just think I was looking for cheap and cheerful. It was cheap. "

"Great value hotel Large rooms with kitchenette. I only stayed one of my two nights I had read the reviews wrong and thought it was dog friendly which it is not.The wonderful bar restaurant next door is though. The lymedale bar restaurant next door is wonderful.Fabulous food and friendly folk. "

"We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. "
