The lodge is great value for the money in the Ugandan tourism world. You would pay much more to have the same quality accommodations and food in other places. "The Paara Safari Ladge is great choice when visiting Murcheson Falls National Park...easily one of the best in this remote area. But be careful when you book your room to make sure that it has air conditioning if that is important to you. (It's very hot at Paara). Even though I had a copy of my booking with Hotels.com that clearly stated that I hadn't paid for an air conditioned room, it required 30 minutes of arguing and a call to hotels.com before they would give me the room I had paid for....

"For me Speke Hotel was nearly perfect. The location was close enough to the heart of the city but in a very quiet district. The onsite dining and food options were diverse and very entertaining, with a great ambiance. Excellent hospitality, warm, caring and eager without motive, always available and accommodating.
