"2e séjour dans cet hotel. En hypercentre, le marché de Noël est au pied de l'hôtel. Des chambres avec une vue extraordinaire. Le lobby est magnifique décoré pendant les fetes. Le petit déj vaut le détour. Et cerise sur le gâteau...le personnel est tellement génial"

"Hotel Metropol was perfect for our quick stay in Basel. It is located steps from the train station. The staff is helpful. When we arrived before check in to ask if we could store our luggage while sightseeing, they said our rooms were ready and allowed us to check in early. How nice! We were able to walk all over the city from our hotel. We enjoyed our one-night stay here. We were not able to have breakfast at the hotel as we had an early departure the next morning. We would recommend...

"Spotless room, great amenities. EXCELLENT location for walking the streets and finding treasures. Very safe, never felt afraid. Front staff was simply charming, friendly and over the top understanding to our plight....we arrived 5 hours early for check in. It was raining, 8C degrees and miserable. Wonderful front staff took pity on us and checked us in early so we could warm ourselves and rest. She was a lifesaver. "
