"The hotel was v clean and nice and staff were friendly and efficient. We sometimes had to wait for the staff at the reception but overall I and my colleagues were satisfied with this hotel, v good service, thank you. "

"Liked common areas to eat and socialise which were spacious. Did not like the closure of the dedicated nearby parking when no building was taking place. The reception staff were responsive and helpful when there were any issues. Some noise from other guests around 1pm. Excellent views and free facilities eg sports. A really enjoyable stay for 50th anniversary alumni - thank you all."

"Lovely hotel full of character just over the road from the station. Big rooms have high ceilings . The bedroom was large and had a comfortable bed and a lovely big shower Breakfast was really tasty , Staff were very helpful I'm looking forward to my next visit ."

"From the moment we arrived we felt a sense of tranquility. The staff were welcoming and attentive. This place really is a hidden gem. Beautiful grounds with a lovely pond and ducks. Inside was just as appealing with a working waterwheel. We had a lovely meal and room was very comfortable. Will definitely stay again"

"The staff were very good. The room was good but very white could do with a bit of colour ( even just one wall ) Overall great view from our room and a great break. Cooked breakfast excellent. Pity they didn’t do evening meals "
