"Love the pools looking over the ocean"

"The food was great. We were very impressed with the steak and the quick service wax great. The chef was great, Kevin. The bartenders in the main lobby were very helpful and friendly. The only problem was that it seem like the water in the pool was not very clean and the sea weed wad a big issue and we were not able to go in the ocean. Overall it was a nice place and would return again."

"Check in was fairly long and painful. I would say we waited in line for an hour or so. We paid $300 to upgrade our room to an ocean view with a balcony, which we enjoyed (other than the sliding glass door being extremely difficult to open). The 3 pools were nice, and seemed well maintained. The bartenders and ALL staff, including the helpful bellboys out front, were amazing and definitely made the trip better. The food? We did not enjoy it. Not the buffets. Items were lukewarm, and repetitive. The main buffet appeared to be under construction, so maybe the food will be better when that is complete? With our room upgrade, the front desk offered to make a reservation for our second night, and we tried the Italian restaurant, which was delightful. The drinks seemed sour initially, so we asked them to make the drinks sweet, which fixed our issue. The seaweed out front is “in season” right now, but they did clean each morning. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, sunshine filled vacation with below average food, and above average staff, this is the place for you!"

"The hotel was amazing. If you’re looking for a great solo trip that’s safe Live aqua is the place. Had some issues but the issues was fixed within mins. The pools were pretty cleaned and spacious. There’s three pools connected and one swim up bar. The food was 10/10. The rooms were 10/10. Mauricio Luna, richardo, and Patrica were amazing.. the service is amazing!! Definitely 9/10 stay "

"Honestly, this was one of the nicest resorts we have ever stayed at. Right in the heart of Cancun hotel strip, close to absolutely everything. Quick ride from airport. Check in process was painless, very fast and efficient. The room was unbelievable. We had the suite with additional master bedroom and full kitchen. No bad views in any room at this resort. Easily the nicest, most spacious and clean room we have ever stayed in. Everything working just fine. The pools were enormous, great service at the swim up bars and great service from your lounger. Whatever you want, food and drink wise - it'll be delivered to you quite quickly. Tons of loungers on the beach as well, which was also beautiful. Around pool area you do have to get down there quite early in the morning to grab some though. No minors in the gym, but gym was nice. Had everything you need. Spa looked great. Lots of activities for the kids, and entertainment at night. Entertainment ends early, which is awesome. It's a quiet resort. Food was the best I've ever had in Mexico! Not as many options but almost everything was top notch. No long waits, anywhere. Room service fast and efficient also! Tons on that menu to choose from. Resort incredibly clean and detailed. Beautiful property! Sports bar was great, all the a la carts were great. Overall this was 10 of 10. We have never gone back twice anywhere but with this resort, we will. I can't say enough good things!"
