"There was absolutely no staff, no front desk to assist whatsoever when we arrived (at check in 4pm) and the pools were dirty the rooms were essentially prison cells with only a mattress and everything was old and dirty. There was hair everywhere and foot prints in the shower - you could tell it hadn’t been cleaned properly. The front door barely locked and it was extremely unsafe, completely overpriced for what it was: I have pictures that I will be documenting of how horrible this room was on my social media platform. I feel I am owed a refund - even partial for how disgusting this room was and for how little access to any staff was available. Truly my worst hotel experience to date. I do not reccommend staying here. Not worth the price or anxiety."

"I stayed at a Marriott hotel recently Oceanside Fort Lauderdale (April 22 - 24, 2026) and was disappointed with the level of guest service. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff seemed rushed and uninterested. Even though there was no line, they gave us information very quickly, almost as if they were trying to get us out of the way rather than make us feel welcome. On the second day, I went back to the front desk to report a very loud vent in our room. The noise was constant and disruptive. Unfortunately, the staff member I spoke with was not helpful at all. Instead of offering a solution or even showing concern, he dismissed the issue and made it seem like it was normal, which made me feel uncomfortable and not taken seriously. At the very least, I would expect staff to either help resolve the issue or clearly explain what’s causing it and whether anything can be done. Better communication and a more attentive attitude would make a big difference in the guest experience. Overall, the stay did not meet my expectations, mainly due to the lack of helpfulness and professionalism from the staff."

"My stay at Elita Hotel was awesome! Before you even THINK about booking here, please note the following: this is an older property hence why the price is LOWER than the surrounding hotels and this is a SELF-SERVICE hotel with no front desk staff. Upon arrival, you have to enter a specifc code to get into the property gate, then you obtain your key from the lockbox next to the hotel room door. The room stayed nice and cool the entire stay with the a/c on and there is also a ceiling fan in the roon for extra air circulation. The room included a mini fridge, safe, king bed, tv and a small table with chair. The bathroom was also nice with a stand up shower. I wish the vanity was bigger but it was fine. I did hop in the pool that went up to 6ft. Surrounding the pool are tables, chairs, and a dining area where you can bring your own food and hang out by the pool. The community "living room" is where you will obtain extra supplies for the room if you happen to run out. If you do need to contact staff, send a quick text and they reply back SUPER fast! BEAUTIFUL view of the ocean from the 3rd level sun deck and from my room! SUPER short walk to the beach where I was able to rent beach chairs and umbrellas from the W Hotel staff and was also able to order food and drinks out there! This hotel is centrally located out of the way of the "busy area" and rambunctiousness. The surrounding restaurants are really good! I enjoyed my stay and would love to stay here again!"

"This was a great stay. We were there for just one night preceding a cruise, but it was so enjoyable. We had a room on the 5th floor that looked right out onto the infinity pool and the beach. The staff was very friendly. The valet attendants were very helpful with getting our luggage all the way to the room. And we finished our stay off with a great breakfast at their restaurant. It was a great way to start a week of vacation. "
