"Lovely hotel, cosy feel"

"great place to stay , very friendly husband and wife team, fresh hot cook breakfast, good recomendation for Take"

"We had a large room with a wonderful view of the winding river and beyond. Staff excellent; friendly and extremely helpful. Food was good altough the dining room was a bilt lacking in character. Very good location."

"Fantastic hotel and pub, very cosy and set in a fab location. The room we stayed in was delightful, very large with great amenities. Food was very tasty and the breakfast was plentiful and hot with a good variety of continental and hot breakfast items to choose from (full English including veggie option). Great to have onsite parking too. Will definitely be back thanks!"

"I was in a single room, basic but clean. The hotel does need a refresh, and that is planned for next year. There is a gym guests can use, and spa treatments are also available (payable) in the Serenity Suite, a separate business on site. Staff were welcoming and very helpful."

"Excellent scenic location next to the river. Amazing breakfast choices. Evening meals were always very good and sometimes exceptional. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would hope to return."

"Beautiful setting right on the river with a very friendly staff team and clean and well appointed rooms. It’s not luxurious but everything is thought through and it’s clean. Mattress on the bed was a bit worn - I could feel the springs a bit, so that could do with a replacement but it was a generally really comfortable and relaxed stay. "A lovely stay at The Speech House. A beautiful setting, comfortable room and a warm welcome. Perfect for a one-night stopover and a great base for exploring the Forest of Dean. Would happily stay again!"

"It was a lovely place to stay. Staff, rooms and food so nice would love to stay there again"

"Lovely old building with lots of history , well situated in the heart of Ledbury so close to shops , restaurants , pubs etc . Staff were very friendly and helpful . We had an evening meal which was enjoyable and service was excellent. Great choice for breakfast and once again the service was good and efficient. The room was adequate , bed was comfortable and linen clean . It was quirky as befitting a 500 year old property with sloping floors . Bathroom was small as was the shower but that’s to...

"Comfortable accommodation with friendly professional staff."

"Spotlessly clean hotel and everything thought about, would definitely stay again"

"Wonderful accommodations in a most beautiful part of our world. The building is very old and this is not perfect. For us it was perfect. An excellent breakfast each morning and dinner and pints in the evening. Plenty to see nearby. We look forward to visiting again."

"Friendly owners and staff plus an excellent breakfast breakfast!"
