"Only stayed for one night but will certainly be back, the hotel is an old coaching inn from the 1800’s and if you are looking for a bland, anonymous place it’s not for you, quiet, friendly, warm and comfortable with character and quirks, my room had a 10” thick mattress ( i’m sad, i measured it ) with very good quality bedding that gave me a superb night’s sleep and even a settee to lounge on while i watched the good sized tv, views out of my windows were of Lickey forest. "The flat/annexe was extremely clean and the host was very welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. Extremely peaceful and relaxing, if you enjoy walking it is also the place for you. Highly recommended."

"One night stay to see Eric Bibb at the Warwick Art Centre and the hotel was wonderful. We had a corner room with small patio. The room was clean, modern, bathrooms good size, Nespresso machine, water and treats. The bed and linen was very comfortable. Bar had a good food menu and breakfast included with lots to choose from. "Not the biggest room, but bright, fresh & clean. I was in the converted roof area with velux windows. Nice shower (no bath option), lovely warm towel rail at all times, and L’Occitane products. "The outside of the building and lobby look nice. The room was decent enough but the bathroom let the room down though. Having to turn and sit at an angle cause the towel rack is in front of toilet wasn’t great plus the fan leg was broken causing the fan to keep falling over so gave up using it. Also they do not have an airport shuttle and if you order a taxi you need to meet it away from the property or you’ll get a £5 fee. But my biggest issue is with the person responding to online messages...

"Easy and friendly check in and a lovely comfy clean room. Plenty of parking available and in a lovely area and only 15 minutes from the NEC. It’s a shame we didn’t have time to use the gym and pool but we’ll be back."

"From beginning to end, we had a great stay. Member of staff at check in was friendly and professional and when he noticed that my partner used a walking stick he moved our room to a much closer, user friendly room without being asked. We were celebrating our 53rd wedding anniversary and when he found that out, he arrived at our room with a card from all the staff. Lovely touch. All the staff were very friendly, efficient and enthusiastic. Our room was spacious and clean. Very quiet too. ...

"Beautiful stay at this hotel. Lovely character and it gives a great feel for the Shakespeare era with old wooden beams and minutes walk from the RSC. Our room was lovely and clean with great coffee pods! Bfast was absolutely delicious and it was definitely worth having. Plenty of options and the full English was wonderful. Great hotel to stay in if you’re visiting the theatre! But also the pub downstairs is stunning to have a few drinks and relax. Staff are super lovely and accommodating...

"Hotel and room were very nice, however a hidden parking cost was not appreciated. Was told I needed to pay for parking at reception on arrival, when I mentioned to manager(?) that evening that it showed that parking was free both on Expedia and their official website he said it was a new charge that they obviously hadn't updated online, but was given no choice but to pay or leave (hotel is on a main road near no other options!)"

"Excellent location for visiting our daughter at Birmingham uni living close by. Ability to park and charge our EV very handy. Rooms very clean and modern and temperature just right - usually I have to turn the A/C up in hotels as they are too hot and stuffy but not here. Overall an excellent choice and one we shall use again. "
