Good sized rooms. Great proximity to Victoria station - about a 5 minute walk. We stayed here for two nights and were very happy with our stay. Management even had our suitcases brought to our room which was great since we were up a couple of flights of stairs.

Lovely old hotel with nice touches. Very comfy beds and nice decor. As it is an old building it did not have air conditioning built in or added and the two fans at the time of visit did not cool down the rooms enough for our liking. It was comfy but hot. Would have been almost perfect but for that. Check in for the key was at a sister hotel just a bit further down a road. Not a real problem though. Nice quiet area.

I only stayed for a night while visiting friends in London but the day was surprisingly good. The staff were warm and friendly sky, check in was easy and uncomplicated. The rooms had recently been refurbished and everything was spotless. Perfect for a little city getaway.

Great location close to many tourist attractions including museums and train stations. The hotel is an older building that has been renovated to a good standard. Our first room was below grade and we changed to a loft room which was nice but steeply sloping ceilings which restrict movement. There is no elevator and there were 52 stairs to our room. Staff were very friendly and the optional breakfast was good. Would recommend if you do t mind stairs.

I was a little confused when having booked the Bower House, I had to check in at the George around the corner. It was all very straightforward when it came to it though, and the staff were so lovely, welcoming and helpful. My room was deliciously quirky with an old fashioned bath under the window. The bed was so comfy and the neighbourhood was very quiet. I was able to leave my bag at the George in the morning and the staff put it in my room at the Bower ready for when I came back. Everything was excellent and my only negative was that dairy free options at the breakfast buffet were very limited - no non dairy butter or milk. That said, the cooked breakfast was magnificent.

Exceptionally clean and well located stay. This is the definition of a hidden gem. The city has endless options when it comes to hotels, but man this place has got it right. Price was very fair, and this is the first hotel in years that I didn't need to re-clean to feel comfortable! I began my post check-in routine, and found absolutely nothing that needed attention. Whoever cleans this place literally delivers the 5 star reviews for this brand. Well, well done! I have never felt more comfortable. Don't even hesitate to book here
