My stay.
Given it is on a busy high street I slept straight through. Loads of shops around. Room was comfortable for my needs though a tad tired and in need of an update. Apart from that, all good.
I received a call to confirm the check in. It's conveniently placed on the main road, close to bus stops and shops. Off street parking available, free after 5pm. The room was very clean and warmed for us, with basic toiletries provided. The receptionist was very friendly and professional, provided the necessary information and offered further assistance.
I'd highly recommend.
I only appreciated the staffs' responsiveness before I checked in and the moment when I arrived to check in. My room's window is broken. Room is dusty and dark. Two wall electrical sockets cannot be used because there are something inside the sockets holes. My room is on second floor. I needed to walk up and down on a worn-carpet staircase. In the morning, it was fine. However, the stairs environment was very dark. In a nutshell, I have no idea how this property got 7.4 rating.
Booked last minute service was good and prompt as arrived late. The was small but livable. The room smelt of sewage. In the bathroom they had painted over the mould. It was unclean with evidence of cockroaches. The room was facing London Rd in Norbury not Streatham as it says on the advert and was very noisy. The blinds filtered no light. The fan was old and essentially useless. I left to go stay in my car
after a struggle to find it in the dark mainly because the sat nav takes you to a council car park behind the hotel, and the sign for the hotel was hard to see, but I called the contact number given and was attended to very quickly by the owners. the room was OK, water was hot, shower good and TV worked fine. slight down sides are that there is a lot of noise from the street below the room for the whole of the night, the toilet overflow was continually running (so just shut the door to not hear it) and you do hear the other guests moving around. But all in all it was ok for a night and was very convenient forme.
Clean room, a little far away from centre (near norbury station, zone 3) but with very good bus connection to tube (zone 2, brixton).Friendly staff,if you need anything, e.g. extra duvet, just ask them.Very small but clean bathroom, didnt have free toiletries, only handsoap.

Sinon chambre propre.
The room was fine although if there had been problems there would have been no one there to sort them. However it was right on a main road so very very noisy meaning I was awoken shortly after 5am.

No frills but perfectly ok
Serviceable but basic ensuite room in out of the way area of south London. Convenient for my business appointment and Gatwick airport. Could have been a wee bit cleaner. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
Pleasant room, clean and comfortable inside. Did get a bit noisy and disturbing in the night with people returning to rooms as lat as 3.30.
I would ask the owner to dim the lobby light on first floor so this does not stream through the door frame when people are coming in and to soften the sound of the door from the stairs to the lobby as this bangs. If this was done it would not be so disturbing.
