"Breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, but needs some updating. Thete was plenty of space for more drawers for clothes, a table/ rack for a suitcase , and a small table between the chairs would have been useful. The pool and spa area was excellent. The gardens are lovely. The restaurant was heavily influenced by spice - too much for older taste buds, but the chef was accommodating! "

"Went for afternoon tea which was lovely. Also stayed the weekend and dined in both the bistro and restaurant. Lovely food and tasing menu with wine flight was a great experience. Staff were really good too."

"Generally the rooms are to a high standard. The breakfasts are excellent, and the staff really friendly. Easy car parking. Only quibble is that we tried to book another 2 day stay, the system didn’t allow this - wanted 3 or more: this may vary with time of year."

"Room was tired and need refresh, cracked decor. Beds were clean. Light pollution from garden into room, lack of decent curtains. No breakfast during weekdays, did not bother with weekend. Noisy environment from pub and landlord’s flat next to room. Would not recommend."
