"The staff were lovely, dealing with two wedding parties on consecutive days. They had to do so much to change the main reception rooms within just a few hours for another purpose, and it was all done so willingly and politely and speedily. A very impressive establishment "

"Friendly hotel with a quirky ski-lodge type layout. The three storey fish tank never disappoints. Some really nice food, and just a warm and welcoming environment. "

"All staff friendly and helpful. Couldn’t do enough for us during our stay and went above and beyond, especially the staff in the day at the library bar. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back again."

"Such a lovely hotel. Our room was pretty worn looking but clean. To make it a really top stay I'd say some updating of rooms in necessary but we loved our time there. GREAT food and fabulous staff and the hotel is in a beautiful setting. Really worth being based here to travel to Oxford and surrounding areas. "
