"Lovely room at top, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed, bathroom spacious. Cooked breakfast was superb and beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Weeny downside, I had already paid via Expedia, my partner didn't realise, and when checking in, whilst I was elsewhere, paid for the room. "A wonderfully old travellers inn with lots of character. Unique and full of charm."

"Plenty of space in the familybroom in thenrop turret room. 4 proper beds, 2 together as.a double. Its an old building and hence an old hotel. Great location for clifton and cliften down, once the pub shut it was very quiet. The included breakfast includes any of the hot options. Only disappointment was only filter coffee rather than a bean to cup type machine for espresso based drinks"

"Absolutely lovely place - bedroom was great - clean and had everything you would need at an amazing price. Cannot complain about the room at all. Only had a little niggle with the food as one of our meals wasn’t great but the other fine! Staff were lovely but busy."

One cup of cofee only which was served 30 minutes before the cooked meal arrived on the second day. Mains were good but starters and sweet menu was limited and fairly expensive.
