"We enjoyed our stay for spring break. Room was a bit small and bedding situation was a bit difficult but staff solved the issue. Kind of hard to find location wise. Breakfast was good but nothing crazy. Room staff was wonderful and room was always clean when we got back. Front desk staff was very friendly too. No AC in rooms just FYI"

"The location is fabulous, at the top of the Spanish Steps. The hotel is solid with a lot of quirky character due to its age. We stayed in the adjacent building. The room was very clean; the bathroom typical of Italy: small with a sink, toilet & bidet and a small corner shower and heated towel rack. The room heater worked well and there was a huge window opening to the busy steeet below although it was so high we couldn’t see out. Buffet breakfast was included and was plentiful and tasty with lots of choices. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The one complaint is the hotel restaurant. Prices were high (8€ beer, 12€ glass of ordinary wine, 6€ tea) compared to other cafes & restaurants in Italy. And something we’ve never encountered in Italy was the demand for a tip by the waiter. He said if we wanted to pay by credit card we must include a tip. We watched his interaction with other patrons and his less-than friendly attitude was enough to turn away future patrons. Despite the restaurant experience we would definitely stay here again. "

"My family of four stayed at Hotel Adriano and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were consistently kind and attentive throughout our stay. Our rooms were well kept and comfortable, making it easy to relax after long days out. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the perfect start to our day. Highly recommend Hotel Adriano for a smooth, enjoyable stay!"

"Hotel Raphael is a wonderful hotel in a wonderful area of Rome. The service team at the hotel were very friendly and kind. We really enjoyed their roof top terrace which offer beautiful views of Rome. The dining options at the hotel are excellent. Their breakfast is very good and we enjoyed some of their restaurant dishes on their terrace. Overall, a wonderfully located hotel that was a pleasure to visit."

"Breakfast was excellent! Staff was top-notch. We were there in March but it was already warm. Unfortunately, the A/C wasn’t on yet, so it was a bit warm but we made it work opening the windows although that let in some noise. "

"Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Because of the Rome marathon our taxi to the airport could not get to the hotel. Two porters took our luggage to the taxi for us and also guided us to the taxi. They went out of the way to make our stay memorable. "

"Vibrant hotel in a good location. Room was clean and quiet and the beds are very comfortable. The taps for hot water were fiddly to use and often quite frustrating- concept is better than the practicality- just keep a kettle for guests!! Breakfast is good though you do have to wait endlessly for coffee as someone else noted in the reviews. "
