"Trouble with our hot water and shower bathroom black mould at a very unhealthy level Housekeeping was lovely and helpful so was most of the staff one woman in reception was quite rude to me when I enquired nicely about the shower being hard to use We won't be back it was not cheap for us and the experience for us was very dissapointing. "Quite and clean, nice comfortable bed. Good well lit car motorcycle parking."

"We got to the venue much later than we had planned, but it was a comfortable night in a nice hotel with an excellent breakfast."

"Better to enjoy your coffee there rather than get it to go. The takeaway cups are so small that you end up throwing away half your coffee. They should offer larger takeaway cups to avoid this waste."

"It’s a convenient hotel if you have a very early flight from London city airport. Nice and clean"

"Yeah"

"Decent location. Easy car parking. The good points were breakfast. And a comfy bed. The negatives were no lift, and lots of steep stairs. The shower was very complicated to operate and took ages to reach a decent temperature and the control of the temperature was very stiff. No water provided. All in all bit run down."

"Property was clean staff was helpful location was great for shopping and getting to buses and rail transportation. Would be great if there was refrigeration unit and a microwave in room. New restaurant food was okay coffee machine was not working and does not seem to be enough staff. Overall good stay!"

"Breakfast is a bit mediocre a nd lack variety"

"Friendly welcome and lovely room. Lots of cosmetic work being done. The continental breakfast didn't really exist - I spotted some cornflakes but no milk. And some tea bags but no kettle."

"Zimmer war sehr groß und sauber. Täglicher Handtuchwechsel."

"Friendly and traditional."

Eventually, my husband had to book another hotel immediately to which was unplanned for our safety. I can never recommend this type of hotel...
