"My adult children and I spent a lucky 3 weeks travelling to different parts of Europe. Our stay in Rome at Horti 14 was our last stop. Extremely kind and helpful staff welcomed us with smiles and humor as appropriate. The beautiful flowers on site, the nice rooms with floral murals in each room, and the lovely rooftop deck all offered a sense of comfort and beauty. The included breakfast offered many options and was delicious. The location of Horti 14 in Trastevere was a real treat. ...

"This was my second stay at Rome River. Quality was really good, beds comfortable, rooms and bathrooms very clean, location excellent and the staff is always helpful and kind. Breakfast is great, but of course it’s over in their main hotel building which is several blocks away. Our room this time was on the side with the busy street, so noise was an issue. We travel often so we’ve learned to always sleep with earplugs in this scenario. Interior rooms didn’t seem to have the noise issue. ...

"The owners of the apartment allowed us to check in early due to our flight arriving at 9:00 and check in at 3:00. They showed us the apartment and how to use the special key. They were very nice. The bed was comfortable and the towels were soft. We loved having the market and multiple places to eat right outside of our door. Italy was beautiful and the owners made it easy for us."

"We stayed for 2 nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. This was a good location and quiet. Within walking distance of shops, dining, Vatican City, bus stop, and train station. The breakfast was good. The room was nice and clean. We enjoyed our little balcony to sit on. I would definitely stay here again."

"The staff was so nice and very helpful. We appreciated the large room and comfortable bed. The complementary breakfast was excellent and we really appreciated all the fresh food and service. The one thing we did notice was that the shower water would escape into the bathroom floor area. We rolled a towel up and put it on the floor to keep the water in the shower. "First off, I didn’t realize what a “Guesthouse” was in Rome. My bad. The entry is difficult to find, and if the driver hadn’t shown us the door we would have walked right by. You then enter a code to enter a dark, dirty hallway to a rickety elevator. Our room was very small, and there wasn’t anywhere to eat the quite good breakfast they deliver. "air conditioning worked great, beds were comfy and room wasn’t too horribly tight, great for a group of two. beautiful location to get around, very central and easy to navigate. when we checked in, the staff gave us great recommendations and a map. they also sent recommended restaurants for surrounding areas. a nice espresso bar and a snack area. lovely hotel and would recommend."
