Only downside is there aren’t many amenities within walking distance besides a little tourist area. There is easy access to the local bus if you don’t mind spending 30 minutes going into town. "

"This a good basic hotel. It offers clean comfortable rooms. The reception guy is awesome and helpful. There is no pool or food service on the premises. There are some items for sale in the lobby which are snacks and toiletries and most importantly mosquito spray! The hotel is at an easy distance (disregarding the condition of the pathway) from Long Beach and Coral Beach which there are many restaurants and activities available. "Great location, very close to Minneriya Safari. Has a nice jungle vibe, surrounded by monkeys and Toucans. The accommodation and food is decent. We booked four people, but the staff tried to claim that we only get 3 beds. It was quickly resolved and they added an extra bed to the room. "
