"Our hosts Sylvia and Franco were extremely helpful prior to our stay as well as during. They provided maps for hiking and for interesting villages to see in the area! The hotel is in a very small area but accessible to a wide area. Restaurant across road is highly recommended. The hotel has a beautiful pool, well maintained and an area for table tennis or relaxing. Many BBQ’s are available for use."

"Poggio Alle Lame is a superb find. Incredibly warm and welcoming host and team, comfortable rooms, with air con, WiFi and all that jazz. It’s quiet, peaceful and rustic. If you’re looking for ultramodern glass and chrome - keep looking! But if you’re looking for comfortable, stylish, authentic Italian country hospitality, look no further. The setting is beautiful, a quiet hill top not far from a small town. There’s a fine, shady terrace to take breakfast and the fabulous home cooked dinners....
