"The Vine Inn is in a great location (right in downtown Davis, easy walk to coffee, food and UCD). They have close, easy parking and quick, friendly check-in and check-out. The room was spacious and clean with comfy beds. The water pressure in the shower was amazing! It was somewhat noisy, but not terrible. My only request would be eco-friendly shampoo / conditioner / body wash instead of the little bottles (which were REALLY hard to squeeze). We like that they have eco-friendly toilets. "

"Harry at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and all facilities and furniture were in great condition. This hotel is well maintained and appears to have been completely renovated fairly recently. This is a great pick at this price point. I'll definitely add it to my preferred list for this area."

"I’ve stayed at pretty much every hotel around rancho for work, and honestly, california inn has the best location, right in the city center and close to everything. you really can’t beat the prices either. I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt bad seeing so many negative ones. it’s really not that badl, it’s rancho! the only downside is they don’t serve breakfast or even coffee, but there’s a starbucks right next door."
