"We have stayed at this hotel several times this past year since our son attended WashU. If you are looking for something close to campus, and a good value, this is a great hotel. It is no frills & a little “tired,” but is clean and the staff is amazing. Since we just want a place to sleep, this works great for us!"

"This is a lovely hotel where I had a wonderful stay in 2019. The hotel is still the same lovely building, and the staff are warm and accommodating and helpful. The disappointment was that the hotel was undergoing a change in ownership when we were there and there had been a kitchen fire so both the memorable bar service and excellent food were missing. I enjoyed the stay anyway but was disappointed about these matters. "

"This place is SO worth the money! Will absolutely be back. Avoid Landry's seafood though. Not worth the price at all. Favorites were the aquarium (got to pet sharks, jellyfish, and stingrays), the train shed for food (drinks and bruschetta were incredible), and the grand hall show. "Such a great hotel I felt compelled to leave a review! Really clean and trendy hotel with excellent customer service to boot. Highly recommend if staying downtown. Great amenities, the gym is super new and nice, the steam room, hot tub, sauna combo is lit. Helped us sort out parking for tour bus.. Love this hotel."
