"Wonderful suites, excellent service and superb buffet breakfast and lunch. However dinner is limited to restaurants, and one of them is often closed, the Wok, the Italian restaurant is very small and limited to 4 people tables and always booked ahead so unusable. This results in the entire number of guests fighting for tables at the remaining 2 restaurants: blue Merlin and the Steak Restaurant. The Buffet is closed for dinner every day except Friday. This issue soured our view of the property. "

"Javier was my host he was incredible from the start. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted and assisted with my luggage and he accompanied me to find my room. He briefly explained all the details about the Hotel. He also asked what was the special occasion. It was my Birthday Celebration. Throughout my stay I was well informed daily. He was attentive and played a huge role in making my birthday special. On my birthday, I came to my room and was welcomed with a Birthday sign, balloons and a treat....

"We love our stay at Catalonia. The only thing that we noticed is that the main pool by the bar needs repairs. More entertainment during pool time should be done. "

"All amenities were removed from resort and beach area became public with locals using parasols. No bars at beach area and no animations. Would only go back if resort becomes all inclusive."

"The beach is awesome. Unfortunately, the price one pays is not reflected in the state of the rooms. Too many ruined down details and basic things missing that frankly makes you mad since they are really simple to repair. The staff is amazing but entangled trying to keep up with all the clients demands resulting from the lack of maintenance. It is a shame. This place used to be tops. Not anymore, and certainly not the “delux paradise “ they sell. Even the pool is missing tiles …"
