Catherine and Mick were wonderful hosts who made us feel so welcome, and they went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. "On first arrival the car park had plenty of space with a gentle slope to reception. Rang the bell to check in. All very pleasant. Guys name is John and he is as nice as they come. Checked in a went to room. All very nice again. It’s what you need on a business trip. Tv. Bed. Kettle and shower. Had a beer in the bar, good selection of tap beers. I’d missed the kitchen due to my arrival time but he offered sandwiches, pizza etc out of hours. Enjoyed a few beers in the bar and got my head down....
"From check in which was very straightforward to checkout which was exactly the same we had a fantastic 5 night break. Great communication from Will the owner made everything easy. Everything was spotless, the room was lovely and one of the best things was the room had a small fridge for fresh milk, rather than those awful pots of uht you get everywhere now. The Robin Hill Hotel is a lovely building with a cute garden area only a ten minute walk from the town and harbour.
Our family room was a good size with plenty of storage, good en-suite with plenty of towels and toiletries provided.
The staff were welcoming, and friendly, always happy to help and inform us of the local area.
The food was delicious.
