"Fantastic stay! The staff was wonderful- Jesus and Jose who were our waiters by the pool made our time there extremely comfortable. The food was fantastic at the de la carte restaurants. We only ate at the buffet a couple of times but it was good too. Drinks well made. The coffee spot was fantastic with a great selection of drinks and pastries. All in all- wonderful stay. Will def be coming back! "

"This property is amazing!! Your own go cup is very helpful for bar hopping and pool drinking!! Other than that there is nothing bad about this property the food is amazing the bar staff are quick and all the staff are cheerful and friendly and helpful!! 100% recommend it but I am finding it hard to rebook the available is sparse"

"The rooms are slightly aged and it showed. The room jacuzzi tub is pointless as it would take a year to fill. There is a lot of upsale on sight including in the restaurants. The stake house was not great pumped the air with liquid smoke smell and everything on the menu had liquid smoke on it. The Mexican and Italian Restaurant was okay. "

"Our stay at AVA Resort in Cancun was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautiful and well-kept the property is; everything felt first-class and thoughtfully designed. What truly stood out was the level of service. Our personal assistant, Rodrigo, went above and beyond throughout our stay. He checked in with us every day, made sure our plans were in order, and kept us updated on all the activities happening around the resort. "Loved absolutely everything! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the bell staff and check-in staff. We were given a rundown of the property - pools, restaurants, bars, etc. we were taken to our room where the bell staff showed us how everything worked. Our swim out was fantastic and we were very well taken care of. Olios was our favourite restaurant, but all were great. Hopefully we can return soon for another wonderful week."

"The whole place is clean and beautiful, most of the staff is helpful and very friendly. The people trying to constantly sell you the package upgrade are VERY friendly. The food is Mid at best, if you want a good pastry forget about it. The pool is beautiful, and the water park looks fun but it all closes at 5pm so it's hard to enjoy if you are doing any excursions or tourism. But if you have any issues, booking schedules, dinner reservations or anything else, good luck. Noone knows what's going on, we were bounced around for hours going in circles being told to do one thing tomorrow to fix it, just to me told tomorrow... No that can't be done! However, they have no issues trying to sell you on the idea of spending 10's of thousands of dollars. On their "world class" resort. That in reality is not better than any cruise ship I've been on."

"Nice property and helpful staff with a beautiful pool. Unfortunately there was algae on the beach which made it hard to swim or go near the beach. I went as a single and I wouldn’t necessarily recommend sole travelers to go here as it’s primarily made for adult couples and families."
