Good place to stay. Small but modern rooms. A bit warm during summer as there is just a fan to provide some air circulation. Would go there again. Thank you for everything!

Perfect place to get your head down.
Compact and cozy. Perfect for what I needed. Great location, view of the Shard.
For the price & location, very decent. Facilities were clean & tidy, nothing too special but again for the location, price and standards, it's a good deal 👍
The owner is very friendly and helpful. The check in is easy. The room is small but very clean with all amenities available. The bed is comfortable and we have a good night sleep. Kitchen is clean with microwave and drinks provided. Excellent location with walkable distance to many attractions.
This place was a no frills type of room. Perfect for my stay. It had everything I needed - a bed, private bathroom/shower and it was very clean. I was able to walk and take the tube easily.

Liked: Cleanliness
A fairly basic small B&B type hotel with a few rooms and a kitchen that guests can use to make tea/coffee or your own breakfast. Everything was very clean and my single room was small but very quiet and had a refurbished bathroom with good shower. Friendly owner was very welcoming. The location was convenient for the Tower Hill area with good tube connections from there and/or Aldgate East.
Leman House was a great little hotel in a central part of London. You get what you pay for in terms of the cost. If you just need a small room and don't want to break the bank, this is definitely your place. The only main drawback was the size of the bathroom which was quite, quite small. But if you don't mind that, then this place will more than tick the box.

good location for a fair price
We wanted a place to sleep for a few nights while exploring London, and it lived up to our expectations. There was a slight smell of mold in the bathroom, and a loud hum outside the window in the evening. But it's at a good location and for a fair price, so we are happy with our stay.

The mattress was a thin pad over plywood!!
DON’T take a room in the front: street noise is VERY loud. Otherwise, location is good for where I needed to be, and the basics are provided.
TL/DR: for the position and price, a very good deal for visiting London in a couple of days.
Nice little guest house, close enough to the city centre and to public transportation.
I had a single room, which was not big, but spacious enough for the time I spent inside, and a comfortable bed. The room was at the first floor, towards the street, hence there was some noise (I'm a light sleeper when I travel).
The bathroom is small and the sink very small, but the shower is good in size, clean and with plenty of shower gel and shampoo.
The first night the room was a bit cold when I came back, but after turning up the electric heater it was perfect.
I also used the kitchen in the morning to prepare tea. The kitchen is small, but I was alone, and the crockery was clean.
This was a nice little guest house. Rooms are small but that was fine. The bathroom was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable.
The only downside is the stairs. It's a twisting staircase so that's hard with big cases. We were flying back internationally the following day so we had 2 big cases. The hotel staff were so kind and helped us get them up.
It is hard to find the door because the GPS sends you to the wrong place. The door is directly next to the Empress restaurant. We spent 10 mins walking all around with our cases because we couldn't find it. Once we did though it was really nice.
I would stay there again.
Room 5 was average size - big enough for the double bed and desk. Bedding & pillows were stained. Room 5 faced the road and train line - lots of noise.
Location was good but hotel really needs to get a good clean. Bed bugs were found. Too bad as otherwise this would be a good place to stay

Nice enough
It was a nice enough room and very convenient for a short stay. There was no hot water in the shower but there was hot water from the bathroom sink. The lack of hot water meant I wouldn't stay there again. Otherwise, I would have stayed again. Great location and quiet.
The place is definitely small but serves its purpose. I did have a broken tibia and didn't realize I had to climb three flights of stairs. Make sure you are capable physically for that.
Was okay for one night, a bit hard to find the place, close to the underground line. But the bed is too small for a couple, shower is for kids' size (max h would be 155cm), no elevatore. The host is nice, the room was fairly cleaned.
Overpriced for what we got.
