"We were upgraded because we booked with Expedia. We had an ocean view room. Staff is amazing and so helpful. My only 2 complaints is the AC in our room was FREEZING and I couldn’t turn it up or off and also more activities at night. After dinner there is nothing to do but otherwise everything was great. "JW Marriott Cancun -- a top end property with endless pools, poolside bars, great food, and direct access to the white sand beach. To give you an idea of how thorough the service is -- they employ a falconer to chase away other birds from the pool and beach area. I didn't see one seagull while there. "Seriously lovely experience. I was concerned about being overrun by kids …. Totally was not. There were plenty of adults vacationing. Something for everyone. Very clean , well maintained. I really loved the staff- very helpful and kind. I tried to tip frequently and would recommend the same for anyone going , who can do this. These people were working their butts off !!!!!!!!! Would absolutely visit again. My kids had the time of their lives. Thank you !"

"Be careful if you are booking this hotel due to its “free shuttle” to and from the airport. They never say you need to book the shuttle at least with 48 hours in advance (only after you already booked the hotel they let you know that). I had to stay in Cancún due to a flight delay and booked this hotel mainly because it was near the airport and offered this service for free.
