"Great location, less than 10 minute walk from the train station and less than a half hour walk to St. Marks Square. Lots of dining and gelato options nearby. We stayed in the executive canal view which had 2 amazing canal view balconies on the roof that was really nice to enjoy a drink on at night. Staff was very friendly and gave local recommendations. "I really don't understand the positive reviews. The Alloggi Olimpia is "part of" the Hotel Olimpia but really not. There is no lift to room. Once you take the hotel olimpia elevator you have to go down weird back stairs and hallways that stench of trash. It was so bad I felt sick to my stomach walking to and from the room. "This apartment was off the beaten path just around the corner from a small canal. We were on the 3rd floor, there’s no elevator, so that was a hike. View from the room to see the canal we had to stick our head out of the window and look to the right. The staff was extremely welcoming, a surprise of snack was a welcomed surprise!
