"This was one of the best resorts I've been to in the Cancun area. We thought out master plan providing ample space for the numerous resorts within the property in a natural setting. "

"Beautiful grounds, friendly staff. Confusing and lengthy checkin. Regular “Royale” hotel guests are second class citizens here with respect to pool areas compared to club members or “Cassitas” room guests. The central “Royale” pool area is overcrowded while other restricted areas are under-utilized. The dining reservation system is dysfunctional. Food is OK, with highlights being the Mexican snd Mediterranean restsurants. The worst was the “Japanese” restsurant in Generations hotel—poor service bad food. The room was large but poorly msintained with a broken patio door lock. Room lighting was too dim for normal room activities, it was impossible to read in bed, the brightest light was in the closet. "

"The grounds are stunning. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. What really stood out was the service which was really excellent. From the moment we arrived to when we left, we felt taken care of. We ate at most of the restaurants and the food was very good at each one. The entertainment was fun and there were lots of activities. The spa was wonderful! I highly recommend this destination and a shoutout to Omar and Angel for truly making us feel like family."

"Wonderful family-run hotel on a lovely Cenote. If you want all-inclusive mass tourism, this is not for you. If you want an authentic Mexican self-catering room or apartment, off the beaten track, this is perfect. "

"The whole place was awesome. The site was very clean and just as I expected from the pics I saw on the Expedia Website. Super peaceful place. The food was excellent and the bar staff was super friendly. A huge shoutout to my man at the front desk Christian for all the help he was. Anything I needed he was right on top of it. It wouldn’t have been the same without his assistance."

"The road to the resort was not paved at all (dirt road with tons of potholes, an SUV or bigger vehicle is a must), it was remote, no cell reception (download an offline map), surrounded by jungle. We had fun driving through. The property was nice, peaceful and surrounded by nature. There is no cell reception but there is a wifi. The room that we stayed in was the comfort room. It was clean and comfortable. There was a musty smell at first but we aired the room out and it was fine after. I think the room needs proper ventilation. The whole staff were super friendly, accomodating and welcoming. We had the pleasure to meet Jason (all around guy - concierge, manager, chef), Robert and Papa Oso. They took good care of us. The housekeeper although we didn’t personally meet her, she did a very good job at tidying up our room every day. There menu option was limited but the food was delicious all the time. We even had a bon fire after dinner with marshmallows to eat😁. We’re satisfied overall. Service was great. The resort has a lot of potential for more activity options aside from what they already offer - e.g. ATV tours around the area, cooking class, wildlife watching, stargazing, etc. We will be back! "

"This was a beautiful hotel with lots of charm, sweet animals, and a quiet and peaceful vibe. The room was spacious and clean; very good value for the price. Food was not available on demand so bring snacks, and be prepared to wait for assigned meals and dinner times. The full menu was not available. That was slightly inconvenient, but the food itself was delicious, and our chef was a lovely person. All in all, we loved it! Some helpful feedback for the host: I contacted the owner multiple times via WhatsApp to ask questions before our stay; but they did not respond to me. This is something that could be improved upon so guests feel they have someone at the property to communicate with. "
