"A lot of noise from people walking in and out, and kids screaming early in the morning. That’s not the hotel’s fault. But some sound isolation would be nice. The room was nice enough, nothing extra there. Bathroom door didn’t close properly. Bed was okay, but not the best. "

"Great location, 20 min drive Southampton and from New Forest for walks. Lovely old pub, beautifully clean and welcoming. We ate in the garden and enjoyed our Caesar salad and burgers. "The staff were friendly and the room was clean and the bed comfortable but the decorating was clearly done by an amateur! Maybe the hotel inspector needed for the rooms at this price. We didn’t buy breakfast but were given coffee and cereal. "

"We have stayed at Ennio’s on numerous occasions; each and every time, we are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome (as I believe all guests get). Condition of property is excellent. To top it off there is a lovely restaurant, with a totally authentic Italian vibe- it can appear a little intimidating, but staff are great. Can’t recommend Ennio’s highly enough."

We could barely squeeze by the bed whereas the two other couples we were travelling with did have rooms as advertised."

"The room was dusty and the cupboard area is very dated and in poor condition. The bathroom was very poor - useless shower with no power to the spray, dirty grout on tiles. Generally poor maintenance and cou la d do with a complete refurbishment. "
