"That was HANDS DOWN, the BEST hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The cleanliness exceeded excellence and sets a whole new bar. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff was very kind. Would DEF stay here again. "

"Love the Casino and hotel! Always smells so good. And the train theme is awesome. Most of the restaurants were closed. Wished they would stay open longer especially the Mexican one with the big bar. For breakfast the Primo restaurant was delicious. We will definitely stay there again."

"Was only in KC for 2 days, but absolutely loved this hotel. The staff was extra friendly and helpful, the hotel pool / lounge area was beautiful, and my room had a cute balcony overlooking a nice view as well. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in KC again."

"Beautiful historic property. If you like historical hotels this is nice one. Staff was, without exception very good. I gave 4 stars because of the age and wear, which is to be expected, but might bother travelers who prefer newer properties. Great blackout curtains. The hotel bar was good."
