"Caution. We booked this location due to proximity to the ferries but on a busy weekend the authorities will not allow a left turn at the bottom of Maison Dieu road. You will be sent out of town and 3 roundabouts later able to come back. A 10 minute drive becomes 2.5 hours. The room was okay. Tired. The person that opened the front door did not introduce themselves and or say welcome. "Fantastic location right on the harbour, lots to see and do within walking distance. Located in a building separate to the main restaurant/bar, so no issue with any noise. Lovely breakfast in the restaurant each morning. Note no parking and your best option is the Harbour arm carpark, which is £20 for 24hours. "

"Loved having access to a kitchen and a washing machine, much needed after 3 wks camping. Beds were supper comfy cozy, and contrary to other reviews we did not find the street noise bothersome, and we had the windows open. Traffic noise calmed by midnight. Place was very well looked after by hardworking staff, we saw staff regularly in the 4 days we stayed. Shout out to them, because it's deplorable the mess other guests left in the kitchen. "We stayed here on the 19th May ready to talk the shuttle to France. The staff were friendly proffesi and answered any questions. The room was lovely very clean everything you would expect with real comfy beds. The hotel is in the perfect location to walk along the sea front or have a stroll through the gardens at the back. Would highly recommend this hotel and stay again."

"Hotel is not fit to house a dog. Blood and semen on the bed, bed made out of wood, exposed electrics, shower door that doesn’t close. Half the building had pigeons flying around inside which we seen as we pulled up. All was reported to reception and asked for a refund, which was refused. We left and booked another hotel! After 2 hours of phone calls to hotels.com they agreed to refund for our booking. "
