"Hotel in dire need of redecoration throughout. Carpets dirty, bathrooms tired, cleanliness debatable. If you're looking for 5 star accommodation this is not for you. More focused at the lower end of the scale."

"Pictures don’t do it justice, beautiful property, lovely location, we had a great stay"

"A very quiet location with stunning views close to venues such as Hardwick Hall and Chatsworth. It was also a real pleasure to find the Pleasley Mill was having an open day on the Sunday - the chimney can be seen in the distance from the property. These were some of the many places to visit in the locality. The property provided easy access to Alfreton station. "Comfortable and quiet. Very erractic wifi meant no on demand TV"

"Na"

The Hamburger was disappointing at £18.50, given that it was clearly a frozen burger and cheap supermarket quality. "Fantastic Branch of the Hilton Family. One of their best."

"Nice big room and bed, helpful reception staff, great breakfast"

"Friendly staff and the afternoon tea was delicious Some of the things in our room could do with being repaired and maybe a new mattress but overall it was a pleasant stay"

"Perfect hotel for my one night stay, very clean and well presented"

"Very welcoming room was excellent quality bed was to die for"

"Used as an overnight stop on our way south, location is good, a few minutes from the M1, Reception staff were very good, bed was very comfortable, only down side was the shower was in need of a deep clean, dirty grouting and rust stains. Breakfast was serve yourself, plenty full but not very hot."
