"The bar was quaint and seemed popular. The accommodation was appauling. We did not stay! The room was cramped, badly stained carpet, far too hot (November!) which explaines the huge black dirty tower fan next to the bed. The ensuite had a wash bowl encrusted with years of green limescale over the whole bowl. The shower head constantly poured water and was left to drain laid over the drain in the tray. We were warned not to trip over the shoes strewn in the corridor!! Do not stay here."

"Lovely stay at De Vere, the grounds are pretty, with a stunning view. Beds were comfy, the room was clean. There was plenty of choice for breakfast which we enjoyed. Would recommend."
