"I was concerned after reading some of the reviews but we needn't have been. The communal spaces were lovely, beautifully decorated and elegant. we had an amazing room overlooking the gardens and the city. staff were very helpful. the parking situation is a bit stressful though"

Room spacious if slightly dated - very quiet, comfy bed, nice wardrobes, good work space, iron plus ironing board, hairdryer, kettke etc. Restaurant very good. Good variety of food on offer with everything I ate cooked fresh. Proper bar as well. Excellent on site parking. Not my first stay at this hotel and won't be my last."
