"The hotel is beautifully renovated, stylish and modern. All staff were so friendly and customer focused. Location right on the river and quayside short walk into city centre. The terrace for drinks was probably the area where we were expecting a little more but it was still fantastic. Drinks a little pricey but it was a special occasion so we didn't mind so much."

"Friendly and efficient staff. Views of the mouth of the Tyne are amazing. Easy parking Despite the fact there was a wedding going on during our stay our room remained very quiet throughout our stay.(We suspect our room had been chosen by the staff well away from the celebrations) Restaurant staff managed service very well coping with a large bus tour and individuals"

"The hotel is in a good location for both beach and town centre. Then staff were all lovely and very helpful and friendly. The room was very spacious. Lovely bathroom. Plenty of storage. But the carpets hadseen better days. The window only opened a few inches, which I understand, for safety reasons. But it's was extremely hot in the room. During the week it was fairly quiet except for the seagulls, but I love hearing seagulls when on holiday, so I personally didn't mind. You can't have a...
