Strand Palace Hotel
"Fantastic location. Room was clean and spacious and staff were helpful and friendly. The only negative was the lifts - not all were functioning resulting in significant queues."
Bedford Hotel
"From checking in with Siobahn, who was such a marvellous credit to the hotel, she was so helpful, giving advice and genuine warmth. A small amount of parking under the hotel was a boon, safe and close to the main routes out of London. They had done lovely small touches like earplugs in the rooms, as London can be a noisy city. Fans for this heatwave, also available. Lovely garden courtyard to escape the heat with drinks. Very close to Russell Tube station to get around. I would stay again."
Hilton London Gatwick Airport
"Very spacious room, bed comfortable and bathroom was clean. Nice breakfast"

"This hotel was very interesting. I didn’t realize I was staying in a cabin, or a “nest” as they call it, until I actually saw it. My double bed room was small enough for one person, so I can’t imagine what a single room looks like. However, for the price I paid in London during high season, it was definitely worth it. Everything is digital. After making your reservation, you receive several emails with steps to get a QR code, which you’ll need to access pretty much everything. If your phone dies, you might be in a bit of trouble, although there always seemed to be an employee on duty. I hadn’t seen the emails while flying, so my check in took about 30 minutes until I completed all the steps. The room feels like a small ship cabin, but I had a very comfortable night of sleep. I didn’t hear any noise from my neighbors and slept very well. The bathrooms are shared, similar to a nice gym. Everything was very clean, you barely bump into other people, and it still feels private. There isn’t much space for luggage, but they offer lockers, so you can just bring what you need into your room. The location is a huge plus, right in the heart of Soho. For young or adventurous travelers, this can be a great option!"
