"The hotel and grounds itself are very beautiful with modern decor. The breakfast was a good selection and the bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. Check-in was quick and easy and we received a quick tour of the hotel. The local knowledge could have been better, when we asked for a local restaurant recommendation we didnt expect to be referred to a chain restaurant, we did go for a walk and settle on a local Thai restaurant. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return if we visited...

"We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay in Lewes. A short way from the town centre, we had the Garden Studio (Twin) which was beautifully clean, well kitted out and comfortable. We very much appreciated the 'isolated' nature of the studio, being a separate building in the garden rather than in the main house, and facilities for making our own breakfast (cereal, milk, orange joice, bread, butter, jams all provided plus cooking facility to make cooked breakfast ourselves if we wished)...
