"Clean room,comfy bed and pillows, very hot in the room but nice ,did turn the radiator down a bit, lady on check in very helpful. "

"The hotel has fabulous Christmas decorations that make it feel even cosier and more inviting. The staff were really friendly, professional & welcoming. The room was a good size and clean and well presented, as was the bathroom. The bar area was relaxed and had a nice atmosphere. Only one issue during the visit. The breakfast sandwiches were in stotties that seemed a bit stale. We didn’t feed this back at the time, which I now realise was unfair. Apologies."

"The room was clean and we love the hotel as it is wnere we got married 2 years ago so have spent both anniversaries at the hotel. The majority of staff are polite. The only problem we find is that the hotel is always too hot. "

"Gorgeous place, naturally quirky and blends comfort with the old features brilliantly. I had a single room which was perfect for a solo get away. Bar service and atmosphere was excellent. Efficient check in and out. "

"Great for a quick trip from London to Hartlepool. Bed was comfy. Loo was a little noisy but l sleep with ear buds and eye patch. Green safety light for others could be an issue above the door but not for myself. Ill stay again Ta ":))"

"Not great for EV drivers as when you take the car to charge, you cannot return to the hotel to park. And the cleanliness in the bathroom prevented me from bathing my 3 year old."
