"Not the first time we've stayed here, so obviously a commendation. Needed to be near to the industrial estate for some work. Location is ideal. Philippa made sure everything was ok. Could not think of a morr therapeutic venue. Grounds help unwind."

"Good location a few minutes drive out of city centre. Staff are friendly and attentive. Rooms are a decent size and very clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast in the morning (not included) and reasonably priced for the quality of product used. Would recommend and would stay again if returning to Chester "

"Stayed in Chester for the weekend to watch our children take part in the marathon. Hotel is in a great location right next to a lovely park & near all the shops and sights. Bed was so comfy and the shower was amazing! They catered well for gluten free at breakfast although a gf sausage would have been nice (they are so readily available these days) The bacon etc was "help yourself" but people were using the same tongues to pick them out as the hash browns which weren't gf. Please be mindful of...

"Great hotel. Had a nice upgrade. The room had a comfy bed and was very clean. There was an ac unit in the bedroom which helped cool the room down. The only thing was the shower pressure was very low and cut out a couple of times. "

"Quiet cosy room above a pub serving great food. Always a warm welcome by the great staff. Stay here twice a year as it ticks all the tight boxes. Good car park, comfy room and great shower with reasonable Wi-Fi for the area."
