"I had high hopes for this resort. I have been to several other resorts in the area (Dreams, Rui, etc.) and had very good experiences. What immediately struck me upon arrival was how unhelpful the staff was and they definitely acted very nonchalant about assisting my fiancé and I with getting accommodated after a long day of travel. I would describe the front desk, valet's, and reservation desk as very lackadaisical. When you arrive, you must make your dinner reservations (which took 1.5 hours) or you will be stuck eating quite possibly the worst buffet food I have ever had. It was the same level of quality as an average public high school's cafeteria food. Sapporo was definitely the best restaurant on the resort and after trying the mexican one there and la Fuente, we did not dare venture from it again. Walking to your room does feel like walking into a psych ward, very bland decor, no life. You do have to pay extra for room service as well which is the first all inclusive I have encountered that with but maybe thats normal but was disappointed with. The room did have a jacuzzi which was very cool and clean, I thought the room was very nice but my couch was wet for some reason and smelled of mildew. The pool and beach were absolutely beautiful but do not expect good service from staff while out there. They definitely do not treat you as well as other resorts Ive been to unless you tip consistently well. Would generally describe the staff as incredibly lazy. 6/10 "

"This was our 5th consecutive year visiting this resort. The staff here is amazing and really makes the difference for us when choosing our annual vacation destination. We have so many to thank. Juana and team for maintaining our room perfectly, Daniel and team for their gracious assistance in the pool and beach areas, Yolasef and Esperenza for the amazing spa experiences, Daniela and Joseph from Guest Services for their excellent support and daily kind wishes, the fabulous restaurant chefs and front end staff Quetzabel, Angeles, Sandy, Ana, Juan, Carmen, Carlos and their teams for their usual above and beyond service, Ezequiel and the Front Desk team for their amazing support and professional care, the Porters, Servers and incredible Bartenders who blessed us with perfect Margaritas every time, Gracias to all. Management should be proud of the hospitality standard the staff here provide. See you next year! "

"Our was clean and updated. We have an amount of preferred time which was bigger and more private than those on the ocean side. The property was beautiful. Not very accessible for those in a wheelchair or a scooter. The staff were great. We did have different experiences with staff at different restaurants. "

"The pool is amazing! Top notch hotel. Enrique, buffet waiter, is the best. The only downfall to this hotel is reservations to restaurants. You can only make one reservation per day and most reservations are already full. We could only get reservations at restaurants at the end of our stay because every other day was full. "

"Chez Waffle has a pretty back lounge area with view of the water and fish swimming into the inlet. The condition of the rooms is a bit dated. The prices of food on the high side. It is extremely quiet in this gated community. If you want lots to do, you are isolated. I did diviving and day trips every day, so spend little time at the hotel (only evenings). The local busses that run between Playa an d Tulum are excellent. Very cheap! Overall, enjoyed my stay and would do this again. I recommend it."

"We loved our stay at Serenity Glamping. Our accommodation was the "Lodge" which has a kitchenette and 3 bedrooms. I recommend the Lodge because the restaurant on site is VERY expensive so it is nice to be able to have your own food/drinks at your site. The Lodge was very private and wonderful! Only steps away from the beautiful XpuHa beach. :) "
