Beautiful spacious rooms, especially the ones over looking the river with Juliet balcony, where you can watch the ducks & swans- all very idyllic. Staff are helpful & always available. Downstairs gives plenty of traditional country style pub vibes. If you are looking for an upmarket place to relax & chill out, this is the place to be. A major plus is the free on site parking. "As an American, being able to stay in a building constructed in 1598 was a treat! The building has been maintained and updated but retains the spirit of the original era. My room was right above the pub so it was loud for a bit but the pub closes at 11 and it got quiet at that point. My balcony also looked out over the Themes and I saw rowers shooting along it all morning. The restaurant also offers yummy vegan options. I will definitely be back. "
