"We really enjoyed our stay. We took full advantage of all the amenities.
Mosquitos were really mean this season tho.
Food has always been hit or miss at all the resorts I’ve stayed in. My family and I love “Flavor” and it just seems catered to those who like bland food.
However, the restaurants made up for the buffet."

"The Fives Beach Hotel: Beautiful Pools, but an Experience That Falls Short of Expectations
Our recent stay at The Fives Beach Hotel in Playa del Carmen was a mixture of enjoyable moments and frustrating experiences. While the resort certainly has its highlights, several shortcomings kept it from delivering the seamless, relaxing vacation we had hoped for.
The standout feature of our stay was undoubtedly the pools. They provided an enjoyable setting to relax and spend time together as a family...

"I cannot express how special this resort is. Small, intimate, and unique. The entire staff helped me celebrate my birthday..special drinks, food and a beautiful piece of cake with a sparkler on top, Best birthday ever. I was upgraded to an amazing ocean front room. The food was great, the pool was wonderful. The beach is maintained and clean with lots of chairs and hammocks. I've found my vacation spot and will definitely be back."

"Upon arrival, it seemed that we would have a pleasant experience. What we go was simply not that. A lot of the staff were simply unhelpful for reasons I could only assume was due to the fact we were American.
The hotel has no room service and no area to buy snacks after 9pm. All the food restaurants in the hotel close at 9pm. Additionally, we could not take leftovers from the restaurants to have later because we were a part of the all-inclusive package. Something to do with the food...
