"Pros: perfect location and a very nice pool with a swim up bar.
Cons: you can't trust room service. They stole $500 from my bag that never left the room - when I brought it up with management, they brushed it off. The majority of the staff were not very welcoming or helpful, with some limited exceptions. Food was average, rooms felt dirty and had a strong sewage smell that came and went."

"This is a glorified hotel - not a resort. It has rooms that are nice, big, modern, and clean. It has a relaxing small lounging pool facing the ocean and a small restaurant/bar. However it is not a “resort”. It is beside the malecon/ocean and there is a small beach near it but the water is too rough to swim. The hotel is in a great location being about a ten minute walk to the beautiful Playa Norte and several street food locations and restaurants.

"Besides breakfast we went off resort for all our meals. Drinks were a hit or miss if you could get the attention of the bartender. Staff that were trying to recruit you in to tell you about their property destinations were extremely pushy and rude when declined. "
