"Lovely hotel, room was big and spacious it had a very comfy bed, bathroom had a bath and shower. Great well equipped gym, huge pool, sauna and steamer all included in room rate for you to use at no extra price. Staff were all so polite and friendly. Grounds and golf course were beautiful with fabulous views from the restaurants. "The George hotel in Rye offers a charming stay with a central location and helpful staff. The comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast were definite highlights. Its bar is also great, boasting a fantastic atmosphere. However, our (entry level) room was a little on the small side. Despite the cozy quarters, the hotel provides a very pleasant and enjoyable experience."
