"Gorgeous hotel, great pool and very comfortable stay."

"Staff were lovely - reception, bar and restaurant The food was pretty good - fish beautiful, steak cooked well, sauces full of flavour - just chocolate fondant sadly overdone. I love the chilled & sparkling water tap! However, rooms are looking very tired, old and in need of a refurb. Better pillows, USB ports and adding some soundproofing would be good too On the whole great service, food & drinks but poor rooms and sleep quality "

"Let's start with the good stuff. Bathroom spotless, lovely fluffy towels and a great size too, not the usual handkerchief you often get! Massive bed, crisp clean bedding, great pillows. OK, so let's ignore the fact that the decor is in need of an update - it might be shabby, but the room was really clean throughout. Negatives? Central heating SO noisy, I had to wear earplugs to block out the background noise. And the shower, although really good and hot, is like being spiked by needles! Easily...

"For $1,000/night, there are a few things I would expect to receive, such as valet parking, fully trained staff and maybe an update to very tired room decor. Everyone was very friendly, our dinner at The Latymer was sublime, the spa facilities are quite nice, but the whole place is in dire need of a facelift and a comprehensive staff training..."

"Friendly staff that couldn’t do enough to accommodate. I stayed while working nightshifts and they would organise to service the room outside of normal hours always checking if I needed towels tea coffee etc. I have stayed multiple times and will definitely stay again "

"Hotel rooms of ggod size, however they are a little run down and in need of deep cleanse or refresh. Pleasant grounds, with access to fitness centre etc. plenty of space to walk (as its a golf resort). Breakfast buffet is well stocked with many options. Hotel Bar prices are on the edge of extortion (1 x local Beer, Small White Wine - £26 !!! )."
