"I am really not sure why/how this hotel is rated exceptional, but it is far from it! It is totally outdated and bathroom is terrible. The hotel was deserted (not sure why), the beach was small and rocky; TV didn’t work and is a super small; AC either blasted high or low and the controls didn’t work. Even despite being given the best room in hotel, these were issues. Saving grace was view of ocean from room, but low value for the high price! Disappointed!!"

"We loved our stay at Serenity Glamping. Our accommodation was the "Lodge" which has a kitchenette and 3 bedrooms. I recommend the Lodge because the restaurant on site is VERY expensive so it is nice to be able to have your own food/drinks at your site. The Lodge was very private and wonderful! Only steps away from the beautiful XpuHa beach. :) "

"The property is nice, the staff is super friendly, and its close to xcaret! The only thing that I would point out is that the pillows could be better, and the shower. The water flow shuts off after some time and it makes you have to turn back the knobs and turn it back on. Other than that, this hotel is okay. "

"First impression was not so good as the lobby looked dated. For me, that was a bad sign because I had a feeling the rooms looked dated as well. We selected the Junior Swim out room and it was horrible. The mirror in the bathroom was peeling and looked very dated, you could barely see your reflection in the mirror. Tiles on the room floors were cracked in some areas and the shower had sewage smell coming from the drain. There was still a wet towel sitting on one of the loungers out on the patio....

"Beautiful resort. Highly recommend Family Selection Kantenah if you have young kids. Special thanks to: Miguel at La Hacienda as he went above and beyond to bring our son peanut butter every day at breakfast. Every morning he gave us a big friendly smile. He truly is an asset to the hotel!!! Israel at Family Selection for asking what he could do to make our holiday even better and offering additional perks. Rigo for the lovely conversation at the Colonial pool restaurant! We hope to return...
