"A nice stay with a good breakfast. Didn't park my car in the hotel carpark due to £5 a day charge ( this is new). Easily parked over the road free. Hotel could do with a carpet upgrade (worn and dirty) all in all it was a nice place to stay, good clean rooms and friendly staff "

"The hotel felt very homely, with a warm informal reception. It’s quite huge inside with many corridors creating a feeling of discovery. I have to give a special call out to the restaurant. Great menu and my choice was exceptional in every way. Service & food brilliant. Our room was the Thomas More suite; happily we escaped with heads intact!! Cavernous room with sufficient sockets. Didn’t really trust the old plumbing so avoided the shower. Would be in our shortlist should we stay in...
