"We stayed at Pinewood Lodge for 7 days split over 2 weeks. The area was lovely , very quiet. There is a number of lodges , each having everything you need from a fridge to a microwave, fresh clean towels and bedding, breakfast croissants were provided which was a nice touch and also some milk- again lovely touch. The beds were fine - slightly uncomfortable, however, given the amount of people who sleep on them this i guess is a given at times. Heating was great, easy to increase or decrease...

"A unique and quaint property. Owners have a long history with owning the beautiful lodge. Perfect for what we needed (1 might stop over). Would love to go back once fully renovated as a wedding venue. It has so much potential and I wish them all the best. Quirky fact - Charles Dickens stayed here back in his heyday! "
