"We really enjoyed our trip overall. Food was good and people were friendly. I did notice some cracks around the edges, so to speak. We noticed the last night they only put a top sheet over the bed, not an actual cover. We asked for certain things in the mini-fridge (which they encouraged) but it wasn't fulfilled. And 5/6 restaurants we tried I really enjoyed the food. I don't recommend the Italian as it was really dry bread and over salted food. Some disappointing things, but mostly a great...

"Chablé Maroma”s location, facilities, restaurants, and vibe are outstanding and superior to the half dozen or so Riviera Maya properties I have stayed at in recent years. The breakfast at the Kaban restaurant on the water is a sublime experience. The jungle spa has everything you’d expect at a world-class facility, and it is right in the middle of a teeming jungle. The staff are always genuinely helpful and courteous."

"Biggest problem is that it’s in the middle of nowhere so unless you know for sure you’re there for the wakeboarding, I would not stay there. Other than that the room was pretty ample and nice. Food was fine."

"Staff unfriendly at check in. Most places were not open. All rooms were rented had issues, chili g smoke detectors, that took two days to fix, broken phone, toilet and shower. Room decor for birthdays were not done, mine said happy honeymoon and I came solo. Just overall very dissatisfied with this resort. They need customer service help."

"Had a very relaxing time here. Only thing I was surprised by was there not being waiters at the pool. Every resort I’ve stayed at the “pool boys” would get your drinks or snacks while you stayed by the pool. The landscaping was BEAUTIFUL."

"We were scheduled to check in at 3 PM, but the staff were so slow that we had to wait 30 minutes at the reception. Conversely, although check-out was at 12 PM, they rushed us into our room at 11 AM. The food was delicious and the pool was nice. However, the water in the overwater villas was dirty and covered in a lot of algae, so you can't swim directly into the sea from your room."
